Temporal Takedown is a thrilling 3D endless runner with light combat elements. Journey through different points in time to rewrite history and reclaim the future. Dodge obstacles and fight off enemies as you race to eliminate a powerful threat that controls the world. Are you ready to leap across eras and take down the timeline?


Controls

A,S or Left Arrow Key, Right Arrow Key - Move Left, Right

W or Up Arrow Key - Jump

S or Down Arrow Key - Slide

1, 2, 3 Keys - Shoot at Left, Centre and Right Lanes Respectively 

P - Pause Game

There are also options in the options menu to remove camera bob and add a reticle for those who experience motion sickness.


This is an early demo of Temporal Takedown, created to gather feedback and gauge interest in developing a full game.

If developed into a full game, it would include:

  • Five Levels: Each based in a different time period, featuring unique enemy types and a challenging boss at the end of each level.
  • Endless Mode: A survival mode with a dynamically changing environment, cycling through the different time periods from the levels.
  • Compelling Story: Follow a protagonist's quest to erase a powerful threat from existence after it takes over the world in the far future. Travel to critical moments in history to remove this menace from the timeline.

Install instructions

Once the download is complete, extract the downloaded folder and double click on "TemporalTakedown.exe" to start the game.

Really cool game, lots of fun. Love the art style, I think controller controls would feel a bit more natural. The WASD and 123 was a bit awkward for me personally. Good soundtrack too. Definitely a solid demo to build on.
